i was watching this programme the other day, last week. since then it’s all i’ve thought about.
in this programme, a man was dieing from motor neuron disease, a slow killing disease, he was getting his house redecorated for free by local builders, plumer, designers, decorators etc. to make his life easier and make his children not embarassed about living in a ‘disable proof’ house. before all the work started he thanked each and everyone for the time they were dedicating for this stranger who was loosing life every second…
he said that time was the most precious thing you could ever recieve, the fact that he doesn’t have much time left but they were all stood their giving up their time to make his worth every second.
you’re brought into this world with no choice so you might aswell make it worth the time you have in it. you never know when your life will be over, when time is up. it could be a sudden death or slowly fizzing out.
it had such an impact on me in the way i shouldn’t spend my life wasting time being sad, take it and make the most of the time you have, the people you live with, the chances you get. you’re young for only so long, being young is when you’re invincible, ready to take on the world. don’t waste it.
